Carpigiani North America is introducing the innovative Carpigiani by Victory Ice Cream Hardening Freezer to the US foodservice market.

High Point, North Carolina (October 28, 2021) – Carpigiani, an Ali Group Company, and global leader in the production of equipment for fresh ice cream, gelato, pastry, and much more, is pleased to introduce the state-of-the-art Carpigiani by Victory Ice Cream Hardening Freezer Model ICH-1D. This new model is a two-half door top and bottom freezer unit with fast pulldown temperatures, ensuring optimal product quality for hardening ice cream, gelato, and other foodservice products.

Carpigiani has teamed up with Victory Refrigeration, an Ali sister company and US-based leader in storage refrigeration, to develop an industry-leading hardening freezer capable of operating at -25°F (-31.67°C) to -15 °F (-26.11 °C) with convenient operator features. “Carpigiani batch freezers produce superior quality ice cream and gelato and with this new hardening freezer operators can quickly harden to maintain the consistency and quality of their frozen desserts and products,” said Penny Klingler, President Carpigiani North America.

The Model ICH-1D hardening freezer is user friendly with a stay-open door feature for easy product loading; a magnetic door switch that activates the interior LED light; one piece, snap-in magnetic gaskets; and low-profile vertical door handles. It has a stainless-steel exterior, an aluminum interior and 20-gauge stainless steel half doors and features an adaptive defrost for reduced energy consumption and more consistent product temperatures.

This large capacity hardening freezer will hold sixteen 3-gallon tubs or twenty-four 2.5-gallon tubs and is perfect for frozen dessert shops and higher volume foodservice operations. The space-saving, two-compartment vertical design ensures faster freeze down and better temperature control as warmer products are introduced to the freezer. “The Model ICH-1D hardening freezer gives operators the ability to plan in-house production of larger batches, more items, higher-volume production or production on fewer days,” continued Klingler. “We listen to foodservice operators and continue to design and engineer products to help them serve the best quality ice cream, gelato and frozen desserts with the easiest operations possible.”
